Fine example of a Johnson M1941 semi automatic rifle. Made under contract by Cranston Arms Co. of Rhode Island. Standard patent dates and "CAL. 30-06 Semi Auto/ JOHNSON AUTOMATICS / MODEL OF 1941 / MADE IN PROVIDENCE, R.I., U.S.A.", on top of the receiver. Receiver is numbered "A1318", while the bolt is numbered "A3626". Barrel is marked "30-06/41". Rear sight marked "M2" on the left hand side with elevation adjustment to 1000 meters. Metal retains its original parkerized finish. Walnut stock with original light oil finish. Correct checkered butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% plus of its original finish with some light wear and handling marks. Wood is excellent. Bore is shiny with sharp rifling. Mechanically excellent. JWA
