Remington Model 40X bolt action target rifle made in 1961 and marked "U.S.M.C. Property .22 Long Rifle 6352" in red on bridge. Used by various organizations such as "ROTC" and service academies. Blued round barrel with plugged front sight, drilled for scope bases with Lyman "Supertarget Spot" 15 power scope with crosshair and fine dot. Walnut plain marksman stock with "White Line" pad, milled blued triggerguard and adjustable forward sling swivel. CONDITION: 92% plus original blue with good markings. Stock has been cleaned with light handling marks. Scope optics are out of adjustment with original caps and functions fine. Good bore and mechanics. Great condition rifle. DLM
