Percussion muzzleloading side by side shotgun made by Ethan Allen Company Worcester, Massachusetts between 1865 and 1871. Fine Stub twist Damascus barrels with smooth concave rib marked "FINE STUB TWIST" with brass bead front sight. Case hardened scroll engraved percussion locks marked "E. Allen & Co. Makers" with double triggers. Fine walnut one piece checkered stock with iron hardware and German silver cap box. Comes with fancy brass tipped rod and threaded end cap for use with cleaning tools and leather bag full of useful items and accessories including a Hawksley marked brass flask, leather shot flask, patch knife, powder measure, caps, nipple wrench and instruction book by "V.M. Starr" entitled "The Muzzleloading Shotgun / Its Care and Use". CONDITION: Overall good with 60% Damascus scene and 10% case colors remaining. Stock has added coat of varnish with patchbox metal replaced. Good shootable bores and good mechanics. DLM
