Lot consists of: (A) Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor rifle with serial number 29726 made in 1873. Blackened finished rifle barrel with blade front sight and adjustable rear flip sight marked with an "R" and ranged to 1200 yards. Black finished breech block marked "Model 1873" over "Eagle" over "Crossed Arrows" over "US" with no "12" on top. 2 position hammer with "US" over "Springfield" over "1873" marked lock. Walnut full military stock with "C.B." stamped at lower tang. Iron blackened furniture with "US" marked solid buttplate and original steel ramrod. CONDITION: Gun is in as found condition with 70% remaining original finish with usage marks and dings. Shootable bore and good mechanics. (B) Winchester Lo-Wall Model 1885 "Winder Musket" made in the early 20th Century by Winchester Repeating Arms for marksmanship training purposes. Blued fluid steel barrel with integral blade front sight. Blued Lo-wall action with Lyman peep sight marked with "U.S." and "Flaming Bomb" on tang. Walnut plain buttstock with sling swivel and steel musket type buttplate. Walnut full forestock with pinned front sling barrel band. CONDITION: 60% original blue with some handling blemishes and areas worn to silver. Wood has been cleaned with a dry appearance and some handling marks and dings. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
