Lot consists of: (A) Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 Standard Weight bolt action rifle built by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1959. Winchester Proof Steel barrel with hooded ramp sight and fold down rear sight. Matted finish action with matching hollow bolt handle with 3 position safety. Walnut checkered factory Monte Carlo stock with added Limbsaver recoil pad. Comes with Pentax 2-8X power scope with Butler Creek scope caps. CONDITION: 90% original blue with lettering filled with white compound. Factory stock with wood cut for addition of pad. Sling swivel bows missing. Good bore and mechanics. Scope is clear and functions fine. (B) Gewehr 98 military Mauser bolt action rifle made into a sporting rifle by unknown gunsmith. Medium weight blued tapered round barrel with integral ramp front sight and drilled on action and barrel with Posa scope mounts installed. Blued action with German military markings drilled on bridges for scope mounts and 4 holes on side rail for a side mount type scope mount. Bolt is bent for scope mounting and safety has been changed with a Buehler style safety with retention of original military floorplate. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and added recoil pad with "B" owners initials on each side of stock. CONDITION: Gun retains 80% finish from sporterization with action having some grind marks on rear bridge. Shootable bore with good mechanics. DLM
