Lot consist of: (A) Webley No. 2 MK 1 double action only revolver. Made 1944. Typical British proofs on the barrel and frame. Import marked on the right side of the frame. Frame and barrel match, cylinder does not. Blade front sight with U notch rear. Original finish has worn to a patina in most areas. Plastic grips with serrations and lanyard ring on the butt. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with general wear forming a patina. Grip is very good with minor handling marks. Bore is shiny with good overall rifling. Good timing and lock up. Mechanically fine. (B) Enfield No.2 MK1 double action revolver. Made at Enfield, with a 1938 crest. Double and single action model. Serial numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder all match. Blade front sight with U notch rear. Original light blued finish. Early style checkered wood grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with light wear on the edges. Grips have worn checkering, with handling marks and scratches. Bore is lightly frosted with fair rifling. Timing needs adjustment. Slow trigger reset in double action. Tight hammer and cylinder. Mechanically operable. JWA
