Winchester Model 88 lever action rifle manufactured in 1964. Fitted with 22" barrel chambered for .284 Winchester with standard sights, sans sight hood. 1 piece walnut stock with basketweave and oak leaf press checkering, plastic butt plate, pressed steel grip cap, and sling swivels. CONDITION: Very Good. Retains nearly all of its factory applied blued finish, with some losses to the magazine floor. Stock is good with scattered indentations and a few light scratches. Butt plate and 1/4" of stock adjacent to it has been lightly sanded, removing the finish there, likely while a replacement was being fitted. Very good bore with strong rifling. Action functions appropriately. BAS
