Mannlicher Schonauer Model 1903 bolt action rifle made in Austria by Oesterreich Waffenfabrik-Gesellschaft in Steyr, Austria from 1900 to 1938. Blued tapered rifled barrel with ramp front sight integral flip rear sight. Blued "Spoon" bolt action with 5 shot magazine marked on Bridge "Patent Mannlicher Schonauer M1903" and fitted Lyman #36 rear sight that allows for bolt movement. Walnut checkered full pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, trap door buttplate and steel grip cap. Comes with Kerr "No-Buck" canvas sling. CONDITION: 60% blue fading to a brown patina. Carry areas worn to a silvery patina. Wood has dark well used appearance with usage dings and marks. Rifle looks to have been used hard but taken care of with good bore and mechanics. Sling is old and tattered but still functions. DLM
