Marlin Model 39 lever action .22 caliber rifle. 24" octagon barrel with a full length magazine tube. Standard fixed blade front and fold-down 2 leaf rear sights. Tang mounted Lyman sight (missing stem and aperture) Plain straight grain pistol grip walnut stock and forearm. Black composite shotgun style buttplate. Blue with casehardened frame and loading lever. CONDITION: Fine with 80-85% original blue blending with brown patina and scattered freckling. Frame is mainly patina with traces of original case color. Wood shows moderate wear with a couple hairline cracks in the wrist. Bore is fine with moderate abrasion. Action is tight. -MKS-
