Lot consists of: (A) Winchester Model 1887 12 gauge lever action shotgun made in 1894. Blued fluid steel barrel with bead front sight and Winchester address on top with "12" at breech. Case hardened frame with "W.R.A. Co." embossed in script on left side of action. Walnut round knob pistol grip stock with "Widow's Peak" checkered steel buttplate. 5 shot tube magazine with two piece walnut forearm. CONDITION: Metal worn to a silvery patina with a glazed coat of old oil. Stock has been cleaned with some usage marks and dings. Shootable bore with good mechanics. (B) Winchester Model 1887 lever action shotgun made in 1887. Fluid steel barrel with bead front sight. Case hardened frame with intertwined "W.R.A. Co." on left side. Walnut plain round knob pistol grip stock with "Widow's Peak" steel checkered buttplate. 5 shot tube magazine with 2 piece walnut forearm wood. CONDITION: Overall fair with metal fading to a silvery patina with some light freckling. Action worn silver brown. Wood has oil soaked appearance with usage marks and dings. Shootable bore with good mechanics except hammer does not hold cock when lever is closed. DLM
