Lot consists of: (A) Marlin "Grade B" Model 24 slide action shotgun built from 1908 to 1915. "Special Smokeless Steel" plain barrel with bead front sight and Marlin address and patents with "12 Ga" marked at breech. Blued takedown receiver. Grade "B" checkered walnut pistol grip stock with "Marlin" marked bakelite buttplate. Walnut checkered slide handle. CONDITION: Overall fair with metal turning a brown patina. Wood has well worn appearance with checkering worn flat with usage marks and dings. Dark pitted bore with functioning mechanics. (B) Marlin Model 1889 lever action tube fed rifle made from 1889 to 1899. Blued octagon barrel with pedestal bead front sight and rear adjustable notch sight. Barrel marked in front of rear sight with Marlin address and patents with caliber marking at breech. Case hardened side ejection action marked "Marlin Safety" on top of action. Square loop lever with catch. Walnut plain stock with crescent steel buttplate. Walnut forearm with full tubular magazine. CONDITION: Overall poor with metal parts showing pitting and excessive cleaning now fading to a silvery patina. Wood has dark oil soaked appearance with heavy usage marks and dings. Pitted bore with functioning mechanics except for half cock which does not hold. DLM
