Ansely H. Fox "Sterlingworth" made in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1926. Blued "Sterlingworth Compressed Steel" barrels with matted rib and bead front sight. Gun has double triggers and extractors. Case hardened boxlock frame with line engraving and sides marked "Sterlingworth". Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with bakelite buttplate and grip cap. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: Barrels have 50% original blue with some old oil stains along forearm. Wear on carry areas. Frame worn to a silvery patina. Wood has traces of finish with a small chip missing behind action. Wood has opening of pores behind tang with small chip. Good bores with some light frosting. Gun locks up tight and functions fine.
