Lot consists of: (A) Savage Model 99 "EG" lever action rifle made in 1949. Blued 24" tapered barrel with pedestal bead front sight and factory adjustable rear sight with Savage address in front of rear sight and caliber of to left in front of receiver. Blued solid frame receiver with brass cartridge counter, cocking indicator, "Savage Model 99" on receiver bridge and case hardened lever with lever sliding safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with steel buttplate and bakelite grip cap. Walnut checkered forearm. Comes with leather sling. CONDITION: 70% blue with some wear marks on barrel and carry wear on action. Wood has traces of original finish with light handling marks and dings. Good bore and mechanics. B) Winchester Model 1873 project gun with thumb print dust cover made in 1877. Blued 24" round rifled barrel with Winchester Address and "King's Improvement" on top of the barrel. Dovetailed blade front sight with dovetailed rear notch sight. Blued action with brass elevator and thumbprint dust cover and plain trigger. Walnut plain stock with trapdoor steel buttplate. Walnut plain forearm with full magazine. CONDITION: Gun has 40% fading original finish with several action screws missing. Also missing tang and buttplate screws and nose cap screws. Wood has carved round hole in right side for unknown reason. Action does not cycle and bore is poor. Great project gun. DLM
