Kentucky style percussion rifle most likely made in Western Pennsylvania similar to rifles made by Charles Flowers of Harmony, Pennsylvania circa 1850. Octagon rifled barrel with dovetail front blade sight with extra dovetail for adjustment. Rear fixed notch sight with blacksmith made extended flip up peep sight. Back action percussion lock with double set trigger control. Full curly maple stock with German silver furniture including oval patchbox, comb piece, butt shield and nipple protector. Typical Flowers style stock with oblonged lock area. Nice German silver crescent moon cheek inlay. CONDITION: Overall good with aged overall patina. Wrist has crack along with forestock. Ramrod is broken. Overall nice honest gun with shootable bore and good mechanics. DLM
