Lot consist of: (A) DWM Commercial P.08 Luger semi automatic pistol. Most likely made early 1920's for export. Export marked on the front of the frame. Left side of the frame has "MAH" stamped in addition to it being stamped on the rear of the frame. Commercial proofs on the barrel, slide and toggle. All external serial numbers are matching. Original finish with correct checkered wood grips. Not matching later production magazine with plastic bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with general wear, scratches and handling marks. Grips have wear to the checkering in addition to general scratches and handling marks. Bore is lightly frosted with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) DWM 1918 dated P.08 Luger semi automatic pistol. Made in 1918. Imperial German proofs on the right side of the slide. Import marked on the underside of the barrel. All exterior serial numbers are matching. Side plate was forced match. Blade front sight with v-notch rear. Metal has been lightly refinished. Incorrect plastic checkered grips. Wood bottom magazine which has been refinished and is un-marked. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its re-applied finish. Grips are very good with light scratches. Bore is lightly frosted with good overall rifling. Magazine is excellent. Mechanically fine. JWA
