Lot consists of (A) Bacon Manufacturing Company Second Model Pocket percussion revolver. Made 1858-1867. Top of the barrel is marked "BACON MFG. CO. - NORWICH, CONN". "69" stamped under the barrel. Round steel barrel with brass bead front sight. 5 shot fluted cylinder. Original blued finish has worn to a heavy patina throughout. Wood grips with a lacquered finish. CONDITION: Metal retains little of its original finish with a heavy patina on most of the metal parts. Grips have minor wear, dings, and scratches. Bore is frosty with fair rifling. Nipples show heavy signs of use. Mechanically inoperable, as the cylinder is locked up. Sold as is for parts. Will need work to function correctly. (B) Moore's Patent Firearms Co. front loading single action cartridge revolver. Made 1864-1870. Fires a special ".32 Teat Cartridge". Top of the barrel is marked "MOORE'S PAT. FIREARMS CO. BROOKLYN, N.Y.", while the cylinder is marked "D.WILIAMSON'S PATENT JANUARY 5. 1864". Serial number, "12355" is marked under the barrel. Round, steel barrel and cylinder with a half moon front sight. Blued barrel and cylinder, while the frame is polished brass. Light scroll engraving on the frame. Bird's head butt with wood grips, having a dark stain finish. CONDITION: Finish on the barrel and cylinder have worn to a nice patina. Brass frame looks to have been polished and cleaned. Grips have handling marks and finish wear. Bore is frosted with good overall rifling. Mechanically inoperable, as the cylinder is locked up. JWA
