Lot consists of (A) Second Generation Colt Model 1851 Navy, Ulysses S. Grant Commemorative made in 1971. Blue with case hardened frame, loading lever, and hammer. Silver plated trigger guard and backstrap. 7 - 1/2" octagon barrel, chambered in .36 caliber. Housed in a walnut case with blue partition fitted interior. Complete with bullet mold, powder flask, and "L" shaped screwdriver. CONDITION: Fine overall. Right side of revolver has most all the factory bright original finishes. Case color on the left side has faded turning a grey patina with light freckling. Case exterior is excellent showing minimum wear, interior has moderate fading and soiling. (B) Early 2nd generation Colt Model 1851 Navy revolver in early tan & brown hinged box marked "COLT'S 1851 NAVY" Blue with case hardened frame, loading lever, and hammer. 7 - 1/2" octagon barrel chambered in .36 caliber. Silver plated trigger guard and backstrap. 1 piece varnished walnut grips. Complete with original box and paperwork. CONDITION: Like new with nearly all the bright factory original finishes remaining.
