Austin Powder Company was founded in 1833 near Akron, Ohio. It was a supplier of gunpowder for the Western frontier and mining ventures. This keg is for FFG black powder. Measurements are 12 1/2" tall and 10" in diameter. 13 barrel staves with 1 end missing. The other end has an engraving of 2 hunters with 3 hunting dog, 2 pheasants, and a stag. This engraving was done by J.W. Orr of New York. CONDITION: The barrel is in good condition and the label is in great condition. REW
