Rare Remington percussion revolving rifle factory converted to rimfire by Remington. Made 1866 to 1879. Blued full octagon unmarked rifled barrel with blade front sight and adjustable notched rear sight. Blued 6 shot cylinder with matching serial number with Remington style conversion plate. Case hardened frame with serial number under wood with silver plated triggerguard. Walnut plain stock with silver plated crescent buttplate and toeplate serial numbered to gun. Great gun. CONDITION: Blue worn to a silvery patina with case worn to a silvery patina. Traces of silver plating on metal furniture. Stock has small crack behind action with hidden repair on right side. Shootable bore with crisp mechanics. A rare seldom seen gun. DLM
