Lot consist of: (A) Marlin Model 39A lever action rifle. Made 1950. "JM" stamped, round, steel barrel with blade front sight. Original rear sight is missing, with added Redfield rear peep sight. Tang is also drilled for a sight. Factory blued finish. Oil finished wood stocks with original checkered plastic butt plate. Includes generic leather sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish with some light wear and a few splotches of patina. Wood is very good with minor handling marks and scratches. Bore is clean with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Marlin Model Original Golden 39M lever action rifle. Made 1982. "JM" stamped, round, steel barrel with hooded front blade front sight and rear leaf. Factory drilled and tapped for a scope. Original blued finish. Oil finished stocks with checkered plastic butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light handling marks and scratches. Wood is excellent with a few handling marks. Bore is shiny with sharp rifling. JWA
