Lot consist of: (A) Czech Brno VZ.24 bolt action rifle. Looks to be a Romanian contract rifle. Scrubbed crest. Interesting "R" inside a circle on the right side of the stock. No visible import mark. Rifle is completely mismatched. Metal has formed a gray patina in most areas. Trigger guard, front band, and band spring have been chromed. K98 style stock with cupped metal butt plate. Stock has a light oil finish. Includes period correct leather sling. CONDITION: Metal retains little of its original finish with a heavy gray patina covering most of the metal surfaces and other areas being chromed. Wood is very good with mild handling marks and scratches. Bore is frosted with some pitting. Good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Steyr M.95 bolt action rifle. Looks to be some kind of de-milled rifle, as there is a large hole in the chamber area of the barrel. Interesting note that the rifle was not updated to fire spitzer ammunition. No visible import mark. Rifle is not matching. Laminate stock with metal butt plate. Rear sight is broken off. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with light wear and some surface rust on the barrel. Butt plate is rusted. Wood is good overall with dings, scratches and dents. Bore is lightly frosted with good overall rifling. Cannot be fired as is. Being sold for parts. (C) Steyr M.95 bolt action rifle. scrubbed chamber area, but most likely Steyr manufacture by the number of "K" marked parts. Barrel has a large hole drilled in the chamber area. No visible import mark. Mismatched serial numbers. Rear sight broken at the base, but is still attached. Action is full of cosmoline. Welded bolt face and extremely stiff bolt. Walnut stock. Includes attached leather sling. CONDITION: Metal retains little of its original finish with heavy wear and handling marks. Wood has numerous dings, scratches and handling marks. Bore is frosted with worn rifling. Not able to fire due to the hole in the barrel. Being sold as a parts rifle. Sling is poor with heavy wear. JWA
