Lot consist of: (A) Savage No.4 MK 1 Enfield bolt action rifle. Made by Savage under lend lease provisions during World War Two. Marked "U.S. PROPERTY" on top of the receiver. 1943 dated stock socket with "S" stamped for Savage. Bolt does not match, but is Savage marked. Bands and front sight are also Savage production. This rifle has been arsenal refinished with a heavy parkerization added. Bolt has been polished and lightly chromed. Magazine has a "B" proof on the spine. Reproduction stock set with brass butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its re-applied finish with a few handling marks. Wood is excellent with a few handling marks. Bore is clean with sharp, "2-groove" rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) British No.4 MK II bolt action rifle with bayonet and shipping box. Fazakerley production dating "2/54". This rifle retains most of its cosmoline paper wrap. Small import mark on the barrel. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt and magazine. Bayonet is also covered in cosmoline laden paper. Includes import box. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% or more of its finish. Wood looks to be excellent. Bore is full of paper and cosmoline. Most likely mechanically excellent. Bayonet is excellent. (C) Indian Ishapore No.1 MK III 2A1 Enfield bolt action rifle. Made in 1967. Import mark on the right side of the receiver. All matching including the magazine stock. Rack number of "79" on the left side of the butt stock. Blade front sight with rear elevation adjustment going to 800 meters. Original military blued finish. Oil finished wood stocks with metal trap door butt plate. CONDITION Metal retains 70% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Wood is very good with light handling marks, scrapes and scratches. Bore is lightly frosted with good retained rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
