Sporterized Remington M1917 bolt action rifle with Weaver 330 scope. Rifle was made 1918. Barrel has been shortened, and is Remington marked (date is covered up). Front blade sight with no rear iron sight. "E" marked bolt has been chromed. Metal has been reblued. Aftermarket Monte Carlo stock with checkering on the wrist and forearm. Plastic butt plate. Includes Weaver Model 330 scope with a tapered post reticle. This scope was often found on 1903A4 rifles. Rings are not marked. Also includes attached leather hunting sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its reapplied finish. Wood is very good with a few minor handling marks. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Scope is excellent. JWA
