1900 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 202474. 4 - 3/4" round barrel chambered in .32 Winchester Center Fire (.32-20 WCF) with standard SAA front sight and notched rear. 2 line Colt Hartford, CT address on top of barrel with ".32 W.C.F." on left side. Matching serial numbers on bottom of backstrap, trigger guard, and frame. Crudely marked on left side of frame "TX P.I. 0494725" in electropencil. 2 piece checkered gutta percha grips with a Rampant Colt on either side close to rear of frame. Inside of grips are crudely marked "March 23, 1901" on right grip panel. Comes with factory letter confirming serial number, caliber, barrel length, and blued finish. This gun as well as 5 others were shipped to Roberts, Sanford & Taylor Co. in Sherman, Texas on December 1, 1900. CONDITION: Fair to good, with almost all of the original bluing turning to a dark patina with scattered heavy pitting and handling marks. only the slightest traces of color remain on frame in extremely protected areas. Grips are excellent and original with no visible cracks or repairs. Action works correctly with side and endshake. Bore is dark with visible rifling and heavy abrasion. -TN-
