1902 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 234795. 5 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .38-40 Winchester Center Fire with standard SAA front sight and notched rear. Matching serial numbers on bottom of backstrap, trigger guard, and frame. 2 piece plain bone replacement grips. Accompanying this lot is a factory letter stating that this gun was originally blue. Gun is now nickel plated with floral electropencil engraving throughout. Hammer is marked "ODOM" / "RAY" on right side with "Casselberry" on left and "SAN" underneath hammer spur. CONDITION: Very good, with almost all of the custom nickel plating remaining aside from minor flaking, pitting, and handling marks. Grips are ill fitting but are strong with no visible cracks or repairs. Action is loose and cylinder does not index properly. Bore is dark with visible rifling and heavy abrasion. -TN-
