1922 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 343134. 7 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .32 Winchester Center Fire (.32-20 WCF) with standard SAA front sight and notched rear. Matching serial numbers on inside of backstrap and trigger guard as well as frame. 1 line Colt Hartford, CT address on top of barrel with ".32 W.C.F." on left side. 2 piece checkered gutta percha grips with Rampant Colts on either side. This lot is accompanied by a factory letter confirming serial number, caliber, barrel length, and finish. This gun was shipped to Shapleigh Hardware Co. in St. Louis, MO August 21, 1922. CONDITION: Excellent to excellent plus, with nearly all of the original bluing remaining on blued assemblies with the exception of moderate handling marks. Frame retains vivid case color in protected areas. Grips are excellent plus with checkering sharp and minor wear. Action works correctly and locks tightly. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp lands and grooves. -TN-
