1909 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 310263. 4 - 3/4" round barrel chambered in .45 Colt with standard SAA front sight and notched rear. Matching serial numbers on backstrap, trigger guard, and frame. 2 line Colt Hartford, CT address on top of barrel with ".45 COLT" on left. 2 piece checkered gutta percha grips with Rampant Colt on either side. Comes with a factory letter confirming serial number, barrel length, caliber, and finish. This gun was shipped to Norvell, Shapleigh Hardware Company of St. Louis, MO June 14, 1909 and was 1 of 5 guns in this shipment. CONDITION: Good, with almost all of the original finishes turned to a gunmetal gray patina with light pitting and handling marks. Grips are very good and original with moderate wear. Action locks tightly and works correctly. Bore is dark with visible rifling and heavy abrasion. -TN-
