1907 vintage Colt Frontier Six Shooter single action revolver, serial number 295574. 5 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .44-40 Winchester Center Fire with standard SAA front sight and notched rear. Single line Colt Hartford, CT address on top of barrel and "FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" roll stamped on left side. Matching serial numbers on bottom of backstrap, trigger guard, and frame. 2 piece checkered gutta percha grips with Rampant Colt on either side toward frame. Comes with factory letter confirming serial number, caliber, barrel length, and finish. This gun as well as 3 others were shipped to the Copper Queen Con. Mining Co. in Bisbee, Arizona on July 11, 1907. CONDITION: Very good, with markings crisp and original bluing fading to a dove gray patina with scattered light pitting and handling marks. Traces of original blue remain in protected areas. Grips are very good with a live crack on left grip panel near center from screw to backstrap but checkering and Rampant Colts are sharp. Action works correctly and is tight. Bore is dark with visible rifling. -TN-
