Massive 8 gauge side by side hammer shotgun made by W.W. Greener, Birmingham, England circa the late 1800s. Damascus steel barrels with concave rib, bead front sight and marked "W.W. Greener St. Mary's Works Birmingham". Case hardened side lever opening action with game scene engraving with blued opening lever and trigger guard. Walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock, bakelite buttplate with walnut splinter key fastened forearm with ebony diamond tip inlay. CONDITION: Barrels have faded to a brown patina with hardly visible Damascus pattern. Action worn a silvery brown. Wood has traces of varnish with darkened usage dings and marks. Pitted bores with tight action lockup and good mechanics. DLM
