Manufactured in 1900. This was one of Colts attempts to get into the rifle market. Being manufactured between 1884 and 1904 and with only a run of 89,777 medium frame rifles and carbines being made, it was a small run of guns. It has a blade front and sporting rear sights. Octagonal barrel with a 15 round tube magazine. Plain walnut front and rear stocks with a crescent butt plate. CONDITION: Barrel, magazine, and the action retain 80% of the original factory applied blue finish. Wood is original and has a few dings and handling marks. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. A nice original and honest rifle. REW
