Winchester Model 1886 lever action full magazine rifle made in 1892. Blued full octagon rifled barrel with blade bead front sight and notched rear buckhorn sight. Winchester address in front of rear sight with caliber marking to the rear. Case hardened frame with plain trigger and tang marked "Model 1886". Walnut plain stock with crescent steel buttplate. Walnut plain forearm. CONDITION: Barrel and other blued parts fading to a plum brown patina. Action fading to a silvery brown with some pitting. Wood has dry cleaned appearance with bolt repair at tang and old chip missing on right side with owners initials scratched on right side of stock. Dark bore with pitting and visible rifling. Good crisp mechanics. DLM
