Lot consists of: (A) Winchester Third Model 1873 lever action rifle made in 1889. Blued octagon rifled barrel with sheared front sight and rear adjustable notch sight with Winchester Address and "King's Improvement" in front of rear sight and caliber marking in front of receiver. Blued receiver with integral dust cover rail with plain trigger. Walnut plain stock with trapdoor buttplate and plain walnut forearm. CONDITION: Metal has turned to a dark brown patina with areas of surface pitting. Oil soaked wood with some gouges and wood shrinkage and chips missing around tang. Dark pitted bore with visible rifling and functioning mechanics. (B) Winchester Third Model 1873 lever action rifle with full magazine made in 1885. Blued full octagon barrel with sheared front sight and rear adjustable buckhorn sight. With Winchester address and "King's Improvement" in front of rear sight and caliber marking near breech. Blued receiver with integral dust cover rail and set trigger. Walnut plain stock with crescent steel buttplate. Walnut plain forearm. Overall poor with gun turning a brown patina. Screw missing from nosecap. Wood has gouges that look like marks from a fire. Dark pitted bore with bad mechanics. Set trigger is out of adjustment and dust cover is a replacement. Gun does not cycle correctly. DLM
