1887 vintage Winchester Model 1873 Rifle, serial number 22883B. 24" octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Chambered in .44-40 WCF. Rifle style crescent buttplate. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Originally blue with case hardened lever, hammer, and buttplate. CONDTION: Very good with no original finishes remaining. Overall a cleaned dove grey patina with areas of brown patina and freckling. Wood has been sanded. Multiple cracks in the stock. Bore is dark. Action is tight. -MKS-
