Winchester Second Model 1873 lever action full magazine rifle made in 1881. Blued round rifled barrel with blade front sight and notched rear adjustable sight with "Winchester Address" and "King's Improvement" markings in front of sight. Blued Second Model receiver with 2 screw dust cover rail, plain trigger, and case hardened hammer and lever. Walnut plain stock with trapdoor steel buttplate and plain walnut forearm. CONDITION: Overall good with metal parts worn to a honest silvery brown patina. Replaced front sight and dust cover has had serrated edges enhanced. Name "KELLY" electropenciled in front of lever and somebody's social security number electropenciled on the lever. Dark but shootable bore with visible lands and grooves. Good mechanics. DLM
