Lot consists of: (A) Winchester Third Model 1873 lever action rifle with full magazine made in 1889. Blued octagon barrel with sheared front sight and buckhorn rear adjustable sight with Winchester address and "King's Patent" in front of rear sight and caliber marking near breech. Blued integral dust cover rail receiver with plain trigger. Walnut plain stock with steel crescent buttplate. Walnut plain forearm. CONDITION: Metal turning to a brown patina with some light surface freckling. Wood has aged dark patina with traces of original varnish and some aged usage marks and dings. Dark pitted bore with functioning mechanics, but lever spring needs adjusted (does not stay up). (B) Winchester Third Model 1873 lever action rifle with full magazine made in 1891. Blued octagon barrel with pedestal bead front sight and replaced adjustable rear sight (missing elevator). Barrel is unmarked except for caliber marking near breech. Blued receiver with plain trigger. Walnut plain stock with nickel plated crescent buttplate and plain walnut forearm. CONDITION: Gun has been totally refinished with some added modern parts (barrel, dust cover, nose cap and buttplate). Dark bore with functioning mechanics. DLM
