Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle with full magazine made in 1888. Blued octagon rifled barrel with blade front sight and Buckhorn adjustable rear sight with Winchester address in front of rear sight and caliber marking at breech. Barrel has been sleeved at one point with caliber marking restamped at breech behind sight. Case hardened action with plain trigger. Walnut plain stock with crescent steel buttplate. Walnut plain forearm. CONDITION: Metal has faded to a brown patina with some light pitting and freckling. Wood has been cleaned with some missing chips around tang. Forearm has cleaned appearance with all wood having usage marks and dings. Good shootable bore with visible rifling with good mechanics. DLM
