Lot consists of: (A) Remington Model 1901 Rolling Block single shot rifle built from 1867 to early 20th century. Blued round rifled barrel with pinned blade front sight and graduated flip rear sight to 1200 yards. Barrel marked with caliber in front of front barrel band "7m/m S M". Case hardened action with blued side bar. Walnut 3 piece military stock with sling swivels with steel buttplate. CONDITION: Overall poor as with most guns that probably came from South America. Shootable bore with good mechanics. (B) Whitney Arms Company single shot rolling block style carbine made from 1881 to 1888. Marked on tang "Whitney Arms Company New Haven Ct. USA". Blued round barrel with bead front sight and missing rear marked "43" at breech. Case hardened rolling block action similar to a Remington. Walnut wood stock with front sling swivel band and military rear stock. CONDITION: Rifle has been cut down into a carbine with overall poor condition. Dark pitted bore with good mechanics. DLM
