Lot consists of: (A) WWII USMC overcoat marked size 1S and dated 1940-41. The coat is named in the sleeve to "R McCoy" The shoulders display the British 49th Division's unit insignia which was adopted by 1st Marine Brigade. Both patches are machine sewn to the coat. CONDITION: The overcoat retains all but one of its original USMC metal buttons. There are a few scattered moth nips across the back. Overall very good. (B) Unmarked WWI era USMC overcoat. The overcoat retains all of its original USMC metal buttons. There are a few significant moth nips especially under and around the collar. There are a few holes at the bottom of the coat on the interior. The stitching in the sleeves is separating and there are a few tears. Overall good. JD
