Lot consists of: (A) Springfield Model 1898 Krag bolt action full military rifle made at Springfield Armory in 1902. Blued rifled barrel with integral front sight with pinned blade front sight. Graduated rear flip sight to 2000 yards. Blued action marked "Model 1898" and "US" over " Springfield Armory". Walnut full military stock with "JSA 1902" and "P" in circle cartouche behind trigger guard. Iron hardware with trap door buttplate. Comes with aftermarket leather sling. CONDITION: Overall good with metal fading to a silvery patina. Wood has traces of original finish with usage dings and marks. Shootable bore and good mechanics. (B) U.S. Property marked No. 4 Mk1 Enfield rifle made by Savage Arms Corporation serial number 73C9083. Blued barrel with correct military style sights. Blued receiver with "U.S. Property" marked on bridge and "S" No.4 Mk1* marked on side. Mismatched bolt and correct unmarked magazine. Walnut 4 piece stock with grooved handguard and pewter trapdoor buttplate. CONDITION: Overall poor with pitting and stock having been cleaned. Shootable bore with good mechanics. DLM
