1926 vintage Colt New Service "Flat Top" Target model, double action revolver, serial number 325981. 7 - 1/2" barrel with adjustable front and rear target sights chambered in .45 LC. Front strap, backstrap, and trigger are factory checkered. Right side of frame near gas shield is inscribed "To" / "Earl Holler" / "From" / "Bill". Knowledge of Earl Holler and Bill would require further research. 2 piece, smooth stag grips with inlaid silver Colt medallions. CONDITION: Fine overall, with 80-85% original thinning blue blending with a grey/blue patina. Light to moderate pitting on left side of barrel muzzle. Relationship between hammer and trigger requires tuning. Double action does not operate correctly. Grips are excellent and fit well. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp lands and grooves. Overall a good example of a scarce revolver. -TN-
