Lot consists of (A) Colt Officers Model .22 LR revolver manufactured in 1935. Features include a 6" barrel, half-moon blade front sight, notched rear sight, serrated top strap, checkered trigger, checkered hammer, and 2 piece Colt silver medallion checkered walnut grips. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some minor areas of wear and some scattered freckling. Mirror bore, with well defined rifling throughout. Checkered walnut grips show some smoothing and a few indentations, but are otherwise good. (B) Colt Police Positive manufactured in 1916. Barrel is finished in high polish bluing, with the frame retaining its rust blue finish. Features include a 6" barrel, half-moon blade front sight, notched rear sight, smooth trigger, checkered hammer, and Colt 2 piece hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Metal components show some scattered areas of wear and thinning, as well as some light freckling. Grip straps show the most wear and thinning, and show through to patina. Mirror bore with well defined rifling throughout. Colt hard rubber grips show some scattered handling marks. A nice pair of Pre-War Colt double action revolvers. -MLW-
