An Art Nouveau patinated bronze and glass chandelier decorated with five matching Austrian art glass Loetz shades decorated with iridescent green chain-link against an iridescent oil spot background set within a five-armed upright patinated bronze Art Nouveau motif chandelier. The shades are unsigned. c. 1910. The chandelier and shades are in very good condition, with a few minor flea bites around the shade fitter. Bronze chandelier is in very good condition. Finished in primarily a bronze finish, with brass toned flowers. No significant loss to finish. It appears one of the arms has a undergone a repair to re-attach the arm. Two of the arms have very small dents where they curve up towards the sockets. The chandelier is wired for a wall socket. The five glass shades are as follows: The first shade has a body that is free of any cracks, chips or repairs. Mouth is smooth and free of any chips or flea bites. Fitter edge has 1 - 1/2” chip. The second shade has a body that is free of any cracks, chips or repairs. Mouth is smooth and free of any chips or flea bites. Fitter edge has a couple of small chips. The third shade has a body that is free of any cracks, chips or repairs. Mouth is smooth and free of any chips or flea bites. There is a small circular, opaque portion of glass near the mouth, that stands out, but appears to be as made. Fitter edge is smooth, free of any chips or flea bites. The fourth shade has a body that is free of any cracks, chips or repairs. Mouth is smooth and free of any chips or flea bites. Fitter edge smooth, free of any chips or flea bites. The fifth shade has a body that is free of any cracks, chips or repairs. Mouth is smooth and free of any chips or flea bites. Fitter edge has two chips of about 1/4”, as well as a few small flea bites.
