An Austrian Art Nouveau patinated bronze and glass Loetz art glass hall lantern decorated with an oversized Austrian Art Nouveau blown glass Loetz crackle shade with green, red and white splashes within the crackle against an amber background. Shade set within a patinated bronze Art Nouveau lantern suspended from three chains. Shade is unsigned. c. 1910. The bronze chandelier is in excellent condition. It is finished in a dark patina which is even throughout, with minimal loss. A couple small dents in the ceiling cap. Chains are intact with no breaks to the links. No cracks or deformities to the bronze. Chandelier is wired for a wall outlet. Shade is in excellent condition. Body of shade is free of any cracks or chips. Fitter edge is smooth and free of chips or flea bites. The mouth has a 3/8” chips on the rim. Measures 39.5" from ceiling cap to bottom of shade. Shade measures 12" long by 10" across.
