A rare Austrian Art Nouveau table lamp by Loetz designed by Leopold Bauer. The lamp is decorated with a very large blue-green iridescent mushroom shape shade atop a blue-green iridescent and bronze base. Both the shade and base are by Loetz. c. 1915. Base is in good condition. The foot has several superficial scratches, as well as some tarnishing and oxidation. Small scratch on neck of base just below the upper coiled section. No dents or deformities to remainder of base. Shade is in very condition, free of any cracks, breaks or repairs. There are several, small, black inclusions in the body of the shade. There is a very superficial 1/4” scratch to the body of the shade. Along the rim there are several extremely small flea bites.
