An Austrian Art Nouveau gilt cast bronze and glass Loetz desk lamp decorated with a yellow iridescent Loetz ruffled shade with blue and silver decoration atop an adjustable Art Nouveau gilt bronze base. Shade is unsigned. c. 1910. Base is in very good condition. A small rust colored circle on the foot, near where the vertical arm joins the foot. A small dark scuff on lower portion of vertical arm, close to where it meets the foot. Some scattered, superficial scratches throughout. There is a circular oxidation spot on one of the three blade like arms which suspend the shade. No breaks or deformities to the bronze. Shade in very good condition. Body is free of and cracks, chips or repairs. There are five pencil-thin dark lines, which appear to be scuffs, on the body of the shade. Fitter edge has one small chip and several minor flea bites. Mouth of shade is smooth to touch with no chips or flea bites.
Condition: (Excellent).
