A pair of metal and wood single-arm and adjustable student lamps each decorated with purple-white etched glass shades by Muller Fres. The shades are each signed "Muller Fres Luneville". c. 1900. The bronze and wood bases are in very good condition. The bronze finish on both has some minor losses. There is a small scuff on the foot of one base. There are some light spots on the wood cylinders on the base. The adjustable components on both bases work properly. No cracks or deformities to the bronze. The shades are in very good condition. A few superficial scratches and scuffs to the bodies of both, which are only visible when unlit. Fitter edge of one shade has a 1/4” chip. Fitter edge of the other has four small chips and flea bites, the largest chip being 1/2”. Mouths are smooth and free of any chips or cracks.
