Totaling only an estimated 2,488 produced between 1920-1941, the Colt Camp Perry pistol is one of the least encountered of all Colt's cartridge firearms. This example was manufactured in 1929, and is marked "CAMP PERRY MODEL" on the left side of chamber, and "CAL .22 LONG RIFLE" on the left side of the barrel with Colt's 2 line address across the top. Rampant Colt present on the left side of frame. Original factory blue finish, with partridge front sight and windage adjustable rear sight. Mounted with Colt checkered walnut silver medallion grips, which are numbered to the gun on the interior of the grip panels. Backstrap and trigger are checkered. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning all around. Wear and thinning on barrel show through to a pleasing brown patina. Mirror bore, with well defined rifling throughout. Checkered walnut grips show wear from handling and use, exhibiting smoothing to the checkering as well as several nicks and dings. -MLW-
