Ansely H. Fox "Sterlingworth Brush" side by side shotgun made by A.H. Fox Gun Company Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1929. Blued factory 26" barrels marked "Sterlingworth Fluid Compressed Steel" on right barrel and "Made by The A.H. Fox Gun Co. Phila. Pa. U.S.A." on left. Matted rib with single bead front sight and extractors. Case hardened boxlock action frame with typical "Sterlingworth" style line border engraving and "STERLINGWORTH" stamped on each side of frame. Gun has double triggers and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with bakelite grip cap and buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with friction release. "Brush" configuration guns are getting hard to find. CONDITION: Near mint bluing with case wear near muzzle and some small handling marks. Near mint vivid case colors with phenomenal action screws. 90% plus varnish with some handling dings and marks and some small flaking near buttplate. Perfect bores and mechanics. A rare conditioned Fox. DLM
