Lot consists of: (A) Manufactured 1857. Colt Model 1851 Navy, caliber .36 with 7-1/2" barrel and Ormsby Naval engagement cylinder scene. The "51" Navy was prized amongst soldiers from both sides of the Civil War conflict and later used extensively in the West. CONDITION: Good with revolver being an even mottled grey finish with traces of silver on grip straps. Matching numbers with exception of wedge. Action operates properly. Grips are worn and have contemporary US inspectors cartouches added for appearance. (B) Manufactured 1861. Colt Model 1860 Army, .44 caliber with 8" barrel and Ormsby Naval scene on cylinder. 4-screw frame. Full Colt address on barrel. 1-piece walnut grips with US inspectors cartouche. CONDITION: Good as upgraded and restored. The exterior is a mottled brown patina of recent application. The numbers are all matching including wedge. Grips are very good with spurious cartouche. Wedge is a modern replaced that is aged. Several screws are replaced. Action operates properly.
