Stevens 44 action with 28" half octagon to round barrel, chambered in .25-20. Case hardened frame lever, and buttplate. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Special ordered tang mounted mid-range and windage adjustable fold down globe front sights. CONDITION: Excellent overall. 93-95% bright original blue on barrel with scattered freckling. 90% case color on frame, lever, and buttplate. Butt stock is excellent showing little wear. Forearm has a sliver of wood missing on right side. Lever spring is weak, allowing loading lever to "bounce". Bore is bright. -MKS-
